About Us

The Blaine Senior Center serves 180 people per day from our community. Members and visitors from Blaine, Birch Bay, Semiahmoo, Custer and many other areas in Whatcom County and Canada benefit from our services. We are currently open eight hours daily Monday-Friday.

We are an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and are grateful for the support from the City of Blaine, Whatcom County Parks & Recreation and many other local businesses and organizations.

Work Out at Our Gym

OPEN 8:00AM TO 7:00PM MONDAY - FRIDAY

Saturdays 8:00AM-1:00PM

Any member wanting to use the gym must have a Physician’s Clearance on file in the office. Stop by and pick up the paperwork and begin your fitness journey with us.

A Strength Training Class with a certified strength/fitness trainer is available for members who wish to use the strength training equipment. The cost for that class is $60.00.

The next Strength Training class runs from in September, every Wednesday and Friday ( Call to sign up).  The class is popular and gets a high marks even from experienced gym rats.  Can't make this class?  Stop by and let us know you are interested in a future session.

Come check out our large collection of fiction and non-fiction books.  The selection is constantly changing so you are likely to find something that appeals to you.  

More into puzzles than books?  We also have a wide selection of puzzles to lend in a variety of piece sizes and designs.

 


Coffee/Hospitality Lounge

OPEN 8:00AM - 7:00PM MONDAY - FRIDAY

Saturdays 8:00AM-1:00PM

Come see our new coffee bar offering cappuccino, latte, mocha, chai, and plain coffee.  Brands include Alterra, Peets and Starbucks coffee, and Dove hot chocolate.  All drinks $1 or buy a 5 drink card and get 6 drinks for the price of 5.  Stop by to socialize with friends, play a game or just have a coffee.

 

 

 


Lunch - Senior Community Meals and Meals on Wheels 

Meals on Wheels hot meals in center:  Monday-Friday 11:30-12:30. For Adults 60+ the Suggested donation is $5 per meal.  First come, first serve basis.  

Meals on Wheels drive thru:  Thursdays 11:30-12:30 Blaine Senior Center G street drive thru.  Adults 60+ can pick up one hot and 6 frozen meals.  Suggested donation is $5 per meal.  First come, first serve basis.  Call us for information at 360-332-8040.

Meals on Wheels for homebound seniors: hot meals delivered Monday through Friday; frozen meals available for weekends and observed holidays. Call 360-733-4030 to register.
