Senior Community Meals by Whatcom County Meals on Wheels in the Blaine Senior Center. Hot meal on a donation-only basis for seniors over 60 and their caregivers and/or disabled dependents. Suggested donation is $5 per meal or whatever is affordable. No one will be turned away due to inability to donate. For those under 60 who wish to participate suggested donation is $8.50. Meals are served from 11:30 until the food is gone or 12:30.

Pinochle is a trick-taking, Ace-Ten card game typically for two to four players and played with a 48-card deck. Players score points by trick-taking and by forming combinations of cards into melds. Experienced players will happily teach newcomers.

Senior to-go meals are available weekly on a donation-only basis to adults 60 and better. Each week participants receive a bag of five (5) nutritionally balanced frozen meals, one fresh meal, whole grain bread and 2% milk. There is a suggested donation of $5 per meal or whatever is affordable.
