Senior to-go meals are available weekly on a donation-only basis to adults 60 and better. Each week participants receive a bag of five (5) nutritionally balanced frozen meals, one fresh meal, whole grain bread and 2% milk. Merilyn Chapman, a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor, leads this flexibility, balance and core class designed for active exercisers who want to complement their cardio and/or resistance training. You are encouraged to bring a floor mat, towel and water bottle.

Tai Chi will be at the Pavilion at the Senior Center. Tai Chi is exercise that strengthens the legs and body core and improves balance. This is achieved with slow movement to music which is meditative and focusing.

Senior Community Meals in the Blaine Senior Center through the Whatcom County Meals on Wheels Program. All meals offered on a donation-only basis to seniors 60+ and their caregivers or disabled dependent. Suggested donation is $5 per meal or whatever is affordable. For those under 60 who wish to participate suggested donation is $8.50. Blaine Senior Center membership is NOT required and no eligible person will be turned away due to the inability to donate. Check-in with the office to get your token for lunch. Lunch starts serving at 11:30 and continues until the food runs out or at 12:30.

Pinochle is a trick-taking, Ace-Ten card game typically for two to four players and played with a 48-card deck. Players score points by trick-taking and by forming combinations of cards into melds. Experienced players will happily teach newcomers.

MOW Meals To Go Distribution

Senior to-go meals are available weekly on a donation-only basis to adults 60 and better. Each week participants receive a bag of five (5) nutritionally balanced frozen meals, one fresh meal, whole grain bread and 2% milk. There is a suggested donation of $5 per meal or whatever is affordable.
